Job Description
*Maintenance Forecast Officer*
• Check the Maintenance Forecast on AMOS system to identify aircraft that need maintenance, the type of maintenance that is required, and when the maintenance should be performed
• Develop a maintenance schedule that ensures that the maintenance forecast is met
• Monitor the maintenance schedule to ensure that it is being adhered to
• Take corrective action if the maintenance forecast or schedule is not being met
• Communicate with stakeholders, including aircraft readiness and maintenance engineers about the maintenance forecast and schedule
• Prepare the daily Transit Work-pack and Overnight Work-pack (based on updated Flight Schedule issued by OMC) using Maintenance Forecast (1844) for scheduled maintenance work orders
• Coordinate with stakeholders to prepare transit and overnight work packs. This includes tasks such as:
+ Collaborating with the ADD Controller to develop the transit and overnight work packs
+ Communicating with the PCC/ Line Station to ensure that the work packs are completed on time and to collect feedback on any issues that may have arisen
+ Ensuring the OWP workload is at a suitable level according to available manpower and resources (tool, spare, GSE…) at each VJC-approved maintenance station
+ Communicating short-term maintenance schedule to all relevant stakeholders once it has been created
• Ensure that the maintenance forecast and schedule comply with all applicable regulations and standards
• Issue and plan performance of the following tasks:
+ WO Stayover check (A330);
+ WO 10Dcheck (A330);
+ WO Weekly check (A320);
+ WO Navigation Database update;
+ WO Aircraft exterior cleaning;
+ WO Aircraft deep cleaning;
+ WO Aircraft disinfection;
+ WO for the work request; and
+ Mini Workpackage
• Perform other tasks assigned by the Head of MOC, Deputy Head of MOC, Short-term Planning Manager, and MOC Duty Manager
*Aircraft Readiness Officer*
• Advise the Head of MOC/MOC Duty Manager on aircraft rotation during daily operations
• Act as the contact point between MOC and OMC/SCC/other departments, and update aircraft technical status reports for other departments
• Coordinate maintenance and support functions via the regular Morning Briefing to effectively address operational issues
• Support and advise the Head of MOC/MOC Duty Manager regarding details of aircraft maintenance activities performed by subcontractors & service providers
• Maintain and allocate daily maintenance ground time to minimize the impact on the flight schedule
• Manage the daily operational constraints to provide aircraft for scheduled departures and maintain serviceability for aircraft operating into/out of all main stations
• Create and update the 7D/1M Maintenance Plan
• Manage and update the aircraft technical status to OMC/GO, particularly the aircraft operation limitation
• Monitor daily flight schedules and notify the MOC Duty Manager if an aircraft needs to apply parking/storage procedures
• Enter data of flights delayed due to technical reasons into the AMOS system for monitoring and analysis
• Report to the MOC Duty Manager regarding any unsolved issues arising during the working shift

Job Requirement

1. Education:
• Bachelor's Degree and above
• Or graduated from a technical university and completed a basic aeronautical technical course is a plus
2. Experience:
• Having at least 1 year of relevant experience is preferred
3. Professional knowledge/skills:
• Completed applicable aircraft type training
• Completed training in Safety Management Systems and Human Factors/Maintenance Resource Management
• Have profound knowledge of applicable VARs and VJC maintenance procedures
• Have thorough familiarity with related module(s) of maintenance management software(s) used in VJC, such as AMOS, ETLB, Coruson, Skywisre etc.
• Meet relevant prerequisite requirements indicated in the VJC AOC training programs, and have completed other training required in TPM
4. Language skills:
• Good English communication skills with a minimum TOEIC score of 400 or equivalent certificates
